Entanglement

Deep Acclivity is the first piece completed in my new body of work, titled Entanglement. These works blend ecology and corporeality to subvert the western landscape tradition. Using manipulated canvas I explore wild as an extended bodily field, examining land as expression and extension of self and culture. The work is grounded in integration and reciprocity, questioning ingrained beliefs of separation from nature.
